#1. Uninstall the problematic apps

If after the installation of a software or an app, you have encountered this error, simply uninstall it. When after a certain activity, this error pops up then it must be the real culprit here. Simply go to the Windows Control Panel, choose “uninstall a program” and select the recently installed program to remove it.

#2. Disconnect unnecessary hardware peripherals

Once you see this error and your system restarts after a while, disconnect all the unnecessary hardware peripherals. Sometimes this error is hardware generated problem. But some other time, it comes out of software related issues. This might resolve this issue for you.

#4. Download upgrade files again

The most common cause behind this error is corrupted/damaged upgrade files. In this case, you can use Settings apps to remove all the previous upgrade files so that Windows installs it all over again. Follow the stepwise instructions as given below redownload upgrade files.

  • Go to Settings.
  • Choose System.

  • Next select Storage.
  • Now under the Storage section, choose option Free up space now.
  • For Windows 10 May 2019 update, choose Temporary Files under the “Local Disk” section.
  • Deselect preselected options.
  • Check the option – Temporary Windows installation files.

  • Click button Remove Files and then you are good to go.
