One of the causes of this is if there are too many players on a server. Method 1: Allow Discord to Use Your Mic

Make sure that you have enabled microphone access for discord. To verify it, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to Windows Settings > Privacy.

Step 3: Make sure to enable switch for Allow apps to access your microphone.

Step 2: Now select Voice & Video under App Settings.

Step 1: First go to user settings and then click on ‘Voice & Video‘ settings.

Step 2: Click ‘Push To Talk‘.

Step 3: You will see a Shortcut box. When you move the curser to that box, you will see an edit keybind option.

Step 4: Now discord will start recording your input. Click any key that you wish to set a shortcut key for the push to talk feature.

Step 5:  Click to stop recording and you are good to go.

Now check the push to talk button and see if the discord mic is working or not.
