3 Ways to Fix Gamepad Not Recognized in Windows 10

The problem seems to be from the side of hardware that might have become incompatible with latest Windows 10 OS.

Many users also complained that the error of Gamepad not recognized in Windows 10 might be due to the hardware driver not digitally being signed. When you perform the upgrade and try to connect the Gamepad using USB, it does not work.

Method 1- Remove Other Plug-and-Play Devices

Try to remove the other USB devices and other external devices. Only Plug the gamepad in the USB port. This will fix the error.

Method 2- Adjust Power Management Settings

Step 1. Press Windows + X > choose Device Manager from there.

Step 2- Expand the USB Serial Bus controllers option > right-click on the USB Root Hub >  Properties.

Step 3- Select Power Management > uncheck the option that says Allow the computer to turn off this device. Done !

Try to plug in or connect the Gamepad.

Method 3- Update Gamepad Driver

Step 1- Download and install the Driver Talent tool.

Step 2: Click on the “Scan”.

Step 3- Click on “Repair” > Update” drivers.

Step 3- Now reboot your PC.
