Method 1-firewall

Step 1- go to the search bar and type windows firewall.

Step 2- click on the first option and the firewall window will open.

Step 3- on the left-hand side of the window look for the link called to allow an app through the Windows firewall.

Step 4- click on the change settings button.

Step 5- after that look below the allowed absent feature box, there will be a button named allow another app.

Step 6- select Google Chrome and click add.

Step 7- Press OK and your problem will be resolved.

Method 2- SFC scan

Step 1- go to the search bar and type CMD prompt.

Step 2- right-click on the first option that will appear in the window and select run as administrator.

Step 3- in the command prompt window type “sfc /scannow”

Step 4- press the enter button and leave it to process.

Step 5- it may take up to 15 minutes but after the process is done check if the issue persists.

Method 3- clear cache

Step 1- Open Google Chrome and click on the three vertical dots placed in the top right corner of the window.

Step 2- Click on the settings option.

Step 3- scroll to the bottom of the window and click on the advanced button.

Step 4- click on clear browsing data and set the time range to all time.

Step 5- at last click on clear data and this will resolve your issue.

Method 4- DNS cache

Step 1-again click on the search bar and type CMD prompt.

Step 2- right-click on the first option that will appear in the window and select run as administrator.

Step 3- type “ipconfig /flushdns” and hit enter.

Step 4- after that type “netsh winsock reset”

Step 5- hit enter and this will flush your DNS caches.

Method 5- proxy settings

Step 1- press windows key + I to open the settings application.

Step 2- in the settings window look for network and Internet options.

Step 3- click on the network and Internet option and look for a proxy on the left-hand side of the window.

Step 4- look for the label called automatically detect settings.

Step 5- toggle the button below it off if it is set on.

Method 6- Reset Google Chrome

Step 1- Open the Google Chrome application.

Step 2- click on the three vertical dots please on the top right corner of the window.

Step 3- now click on the settings option.

Step 4- again Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on the advanced button.

Step 5- look for the Reset settings button And click on it.

Step 6- click on the reset button to confirm the resetting.

Method 7- extensions

Step 1-again open the Google Chrome application.

Step 2- click on the three vertical dots placed on the top right corner of the window.

Step 3- look for the more tools option and click on it.

Step 4- click on the extensions button and the extensions window will open.

Step 5- disable all the extensions and restart Chrome. Check if this method helps or not.

Method 8- DISM Scan

Step 1- click on the search bar and type CMD prompt.

Step 2- right-click on the first option that appears in the window and select run as administrator.

Step 3- type “/Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth” And hit enter.

Step 4- Wait until the process is done and restart your Chrome to check if the problem persists.
