All of us are aware of the Taiwanese tech company called Huawei. If you aren’t then we have got your backs.
Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. is a Chinese multinational company focusing on networking, telecommunications equipment and services. The headquarters are in Shenzhen, Guangdong. Being the largest telecommunications equipment manufacturer in the world it has now overtaken Ericsson only recently in the year of 2012. It was founded in 1987 by Ren Zhengfei who is a former engineer in the People’s Liberation Army. During the initial years, the company worked on manufacturing phone switches. From that, the founder has steered the company to larger extents of setting up telecommunications networks, providing consulting and operational services.
There has been some development which might benefit the company impressively.
Now that the history of the company is discussed let us head towards the news.
Well, the company, on Wednesday released its 5G-oriented mobile bearer solution. It is proudly called the X-Haul, working to help operators build an end to end 5G networks. The solution particularly gives a flexible access capability which will be able to match the scenario of any site. It also aids in implementing responsive network operations purely based on a cloud architecture and design.
X-Haul enables new service innovation through which end to end network slicing takes place. Supporting smooth transition from 4G bearer networks to 5G networks will be looked after by it as well. Jeffrey Gao who is the President of Huawei (Router and Carrier Ethernet Product Line) commented: “The Huawei ‘X-Haul’ solution fully supports 4G/5G bearing, so as to effectively support operators’ new service development and expand the business blueprint.” The company currently deployed around 190 mobile bearer networks ranging up to 100 countries. These countries carry around 2.8 million base stations which serve one-third of the world’s users. Now that is something to feel threatened about.
“Huawei is dedicated to providing innovative 5G bearer solutions, and working together with industry partners to promote 5G bearer-related technologies to be standardized by international standards organisations,” exclaimed the company.
