Hello, dear reader, we meet once again with a new topic to talk about. Are you ready for it? So, let me tell you that Microsoft has come up with a new trick this festive season for us. The company has hidden a tiny Easter egg inside the Xbox One X which most of the owners are unlikely to find. It is an etching of Halo’s Master Chief riding on top of a scorpion. The image is a nice and laudable homage to both of the character that helped increase the success of the Xbox and to the One X’s code name, project Scorpio. It should be mentioned that it is a nice play on words since the tanks that Master Chief occasionally rides in Halo are also dubbed as Scorpions. That sounds like something which should be talked about.
Of course, it is a cool twist, hopefully, most Xbox owners won’t be in a place to find it. The image is on the circuit board of the console that the owner will have to crack open the Xbox or find it yourself with a cracked-open Xbox before it is visible. Sounds exciting, right? Read further to know more about the topic.
There is a YouTube channel called Unocero which pointed out that the picture while tearing down the console during a tour which took people around the Microsoft’s Seattle campus. If you want, you can see it for yourself, just after the 11-minute mark. It turns out that this wasn’t the first time master Chief has packed away inside an Xbox. Eurogamer has pointed out that there wasn’t a portrait of him inside the Xbox One S, too.
