How to Fix No Sound After Update Drivers

So here are the three ways by which you can fix the issue. All of them are easy and so you can try each one of them. Don’t panic and just start with the first solution and move on.

Method 1- Uninstall the Audio Drivers

The first method that you can try is uninstalling the audio drivers of your system. Since most of the time a faulty driver leads to problems like this, it is better that we begin with uninstalling the driver at fault. Then you can go ahead with the Windows 10 sound drivers download to get sound out of your system.

Step 1: Open the Quick access menu by clicking on the Windows icon key +X altogether.

Step 2: Then click on Device Manager. Expand the Sound, Video and Game Controllers option.

Step 3: Under this locate your sound card or the audio drivers and right-click on it. Then select the uninstall option.

Step 4: You will be asked to confirm the uninstallation process. Mark Delete the driver > ok.

Step 5: Restart.

Method 2- Check the Settings of your Speaker

Step 1: Right click speaker icon  > Right click > select Playback devices.

Step 2: Check that the Speakers option with green color.

If not selected as green then select it as default with a green sign.

Step 3: Click on Speakers > select Properties > Advanced tab.

Step 4:  Try out different sample rate > Test every time and when it looks fine > OK.

Method 3- Update your Sound Drivers

Step 1: Download Driver Easy >  http://www.drivereasy.com/DriverEasy_Setup.exe

Step 2: Install it > scan pc and update all drivers.

Step 3: Restart the system.
