  • Requirement 1: The two PCs have to have Bluetooth 4.0.
  • Requirement 2: Windows 10 version 1803 or later.
  • Measure 3: Bluetooth range is enough to connect.

How To Share Files Between Two Windows 10 Computers

Step 1: Make sure that You are running on Windows 10 1803 or later version. To confirm, open Run and type Winver.exe > Press Enter key.

If it is okay then you are good to go.

Step 2: Connect both Windows PC with the same WiFi network. Because if they are not connected, NearBy will choose Bluetooth automatically, which is generally slower than Wi-Fi.

Step 3: On both PCs, go to Settings > System > Shared Experiences.

Turn on Nearby Share. Select Everyone option “I can share or receive content from”.

 

Step 4: Right-click on any file > click Share.

Step 5: The System will check nearby devices. Your other PC should now appear in the list. Click on it and transfer will start.

Click on this Desktop.
